Prince Tennis Shoes For Men
The tennis shoes offered from Prince for men can really be broken down into a few popular models. The T22 is the best selling set of Prince tennis shoes, but there are a few others that are still competitive quality models. Here’s a quick listing of the best that Prince tennis shoes has to offer:
Prince T22 Men’s Tennis Shoes
I haven’t been able to try these shoes myself yet, but I’ve seen more players wearing them lately and haven’t heard anything but positive reviews. The T22 from its weight listing is obviously a heavier duty shoe and isn’t going to feel as light as something like the Roadster.
- Great supportive and durable tennis shoe
- A bit on the heavy side
Prince Rebel Men’s Tennis Shoes
Buy – Prince Rebel Tennis Shoes
The goal of this line seems to be a shoe that is a little lighter and flashier than the T22 tennis shoes. Bringing the weight down a bit is always nice, making this shoe a little closer to something like the roadster.
Reviews are a bit mixed about this shoe. It seems like the majority agree that there really isn’t much padding in the shoe, which was good for some people and bad for others. The stability is there and it is a bit little. The shoe seems to offer a reasonable value alternative to some of the other models.
- Offers good support, feel, and a low ride
- Durability isn’t bad, also comes with a 6-month durability guarantee
- Design is a bit flashy for my tastes
- Not a lot of padding. Some might not enjoy the lack of a plushy mid sole
- Uppers are soft and the shoe breaks in easy, comfortable right off the bat like most Prince shoes are.
Prince Viper II and VI Tennis Shoes for Men
Buy – Prince Viper Tennis Shoes
I’ve not been able to try either of these shoes, though given a chance I wouldn’t mind testing them out. Reviews seem fairly positive overall emphasizing comfort and good ankle support. It seems like the VI might offer a bit more stability than the models before it.
One thing to watch out for with these shoes is a common complaint (or in many peoples cases perk) of a very wide toe box. If you need a very wide tennis shoe in the toe area, these may well be a good choice. For around $50-$70 they certainly are a cost effective option.
Prince Tennis Shoes for Women
Whether you are a man or a woman looking for tennis shoes, the Prince T22 is the flagship model. This tennis shoe has been tested by both genders and received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Prince T22 Women’s Tennis Shoes
- Toe box is large and leaves plenty of room, not necessarily uncomfortable but something to be aware of
- Shoe is quite comfortable, little to no break in required
- Durability and stability also rate quite high. A solid tennis shoe also offering a durability guarantee
Prince Poise Women’s Tennis Shoes
The women’s model targeting a lighter and faster shoe. These shoes offer a very comfortable and light fit. The durability also withstands wears pretty well considering the lighter design. Medium level of cushioning provides the right amount of support without causing an overly heavy shoe
- Lighter design than the T22, offers a speed based shoe
- Durability isn’t as strong as the T22
- Comfortable and very little break in period. A great lighter alternative to the T22. Does come with the durability guarantee as well. Part of the new Light Speed Series that Prince is producing
- Might also try Asics tennis shoes for comfort or K Swiss tennis shoes for similar discount value
