The Courtballistec 3.3 is the current model of the shoe line worn by Rafael Nadal. Considering the amazing court coverage we see from the Spaniard, it has to be considered that the Nadal tennis shoes might be useful for their speed and durability.
Having tried the Rafael Nadal shoes myself, I’d tend to agree with all the comments about these being very narrow and causing some discomfort around the ankle. I didn’t notice the problem with the arch that some people have mentioned. The shoes do feel a bit better after breaking in, but I really prefer a shoe with softer and less narrow material around the ankle.
On the other hand these shoes do seem to be fairly durable. I’ve had no problems with the out sole and after a few weeks of play the signs of wear are quite minimal. Nike is also offering the 6 month durability guarantee on this pair of shoes so it’s hard to go wrong for durability with this pair. If you can stand the discomfort at the start and also don’t mind a narrow fitting tennis shoe, by all means give this new nike air courtballistec a try. The style of the shoe is quite cool and impressive, but that really is no surprise coming from Nike.
